Yulia Sozanska

Violinist


Yulia Sozanska is a Ukrainian violinist currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London under a full scholarship, where she studies with Professor Robin Wilson, following mentorship from Professor György Pauk. Born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, she began her violin studies at the age of five, training at Chernivtsi Music School No. 1 and the Chernivtsi College of Arts before continuing her education in the UK.

An accomplished competition laureate, Yulia has earned top prizes at prestigious events, including:

- 1st Prize & Special Award – International Competition of Young Musicians (Zagreb)

- 2nd Prize – Myron Polyakin International Violin Competition

- 3rd Prize – Bogodar Kotorovych Festival-Competition

- 2nd Prize – "Lviv Virtuoso"

As a soloist, she has performed concertos by Bruch, Saint-Saëns, Mendelssohn, Vieuxtemps, Khachaturian, and Sibelius with the Chernivtsi Symphony Orchestra, as well as in venues across Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. Passionate about chamber and orchestral music, she regularly performs at international festivals and concerts throughout Europe.
