Viviane plekhotkine

Concert Master

Viviane Plekhotkine began her violin studies in St. Petersburg before moving to the UK at the age of 12 to study at the renowned Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey under the guidance of Professor Lutsia Ibragimova. During her time at the Menuhin School, Viviane performed extensively, including concert tours to prestigious events such as the Menuhin Festival in Switzerland, as well as performances in Brussels, Germany, and Spain.

In 2019, Viviane made her London debut with the LSEO, conducted by composer Matthew Taylor, where she performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto. This performance led to a subsequent invitation to return in 2022. In 2020, Viviane was awarded the Gold Award at the 3rd China-UK International Music Festival in London. This accolade afforded her the opportunity to record Bach’s Violin Sonata No. 2 with the festival.

Viviane completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Royal College of Music in 2024 and is now pursuing her Master’s degree at the same institution, studying under the mentorship of Radu Blidar.

Alongside her studies, Viviane leads an active freelance career both in the UK and internationally. Recent highlights include regular collaborations with Camerata Nordica in Sweden, as well as performances with the English National Opera (ENO) and the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.”
