Stefan Bulyha was born and raised in Rivne, Ukraine. He began his formal musical education at the Glière Academy of Music, where he distinguished himself by earning prizes and accolades in over 20 competitions.

Currently, Stefan is pursuing advanced studies at the Royal Academy of Music under the guidance of Chris Richards, supported by a double scholarship. In 2022, he gave the UK premiere of Vitaliy Hubarenko’s Aria for clarinet and string orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, performing with the London Contemporary Orchestra.

Stefan is also a recipient of prestigious awards and scholarships from the Hattori Foundation, the Drake Calleja Trust, and Talent Unlimited.
