Dmytro Fonariuk
Clarinet
Dmytro Fonariuk is a Ukrainian clarinetist based in London, holding a Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music (2024). His training includes studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv, 2021) and the R.M. Glier Municipal Music Academy (Kyiv, 2014).
An accomplished orchestral and chamber musician, Dmytro has performed with ensembles such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Royal Academy of Music, I, Culture Orchestra (Poland), Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, and Kyivska Kamerata (National Ensemble of Soloists, 2019–2022). He has collaborated with distinguished conductors, including Barbara Hannigan, Semyon Bychkov, Andrey Boreiko, and Volodymyr Sirenko, and has participated in festivals such as Music in Alps (Austria).
As a freelancer, Dmytro performs with the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra, Reform Club Orchestra, St. James’s Chamber Orchestra, and Lihtar Orchestra. He has refined his artistry in masterclasses with leading clarinetists such as Anthony McGill, Andrew Marriner, Patrick Messina, and Nicolas Balderou.
Dmytro is currently open to collaborations, solo engagements, and orchestral opportunities across the UK and internationally.
